Maybe you are wondering, “what is Oaxaca? Why did Sarah go there this summer?”
Oaxaca is a state in Mexico near Chiapas, which is near Guatemala.
Ty found out that he needed to go to a Spanish Immersion program for his work, and Mack and I were able to go too. We began looking for a good school, and I found one in Oaxaca.
We also love Oaxaca because that is where our Bible translation project is located. After connecting with Rolando (translation project leader), we discovered that it would be possible to visit him over one weekend.
So we took a huge leap of faith and jumped through this wide open door God provided. We quickly packed up the family and spent a month in Oaxaca, expectant to see God move.
